- I would argue that both links are of value to the reader. Disk array is a hypernym of RAID, and both are relevant to the definition of the headword. Meanwhile, the nature of the topic is hidden behind the opaque acronym RAID; disk array elucidates it. As for linking the term and not just using it: It's unsafe to assume that all readers know the meaning of a technical term like disk array. For the initiated reader, the link is not only a convenience, it implicitly communicates the availability of the disk array article. —Ringbang (talk) 04:42, 27 January 2026 (UTC)
