In January a sentence was added stating that the airfield was back in use for gliding. Can this be confirmed as my ATC contacts have said that it is closed and that 611 may be being relocated to Cambridgeshire? DiverScout (talk) 17:18, 23 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

Apologies for the delay. 611 VGS returned to standard operations until ceasing again in April 2012. The plan for the immediate future is to move to RAF Honington to fly Vigilant motor gliders. No idea where you got Cambridgeshire from. For disclosure, I am a member of the squadron. KraziBazil (talk) 13:58, 9 January 2013 (UTC)Reply
