- Both articles are very closly related.
- Both articles are fairly short.
- There is some duplication between the two articles.

- Hi, Greenshed! I just suggested the same merge because you never closed the "List of senior officers of Strike Command" article. Is there a reason that you didn't merge the full dates of enlistment (or service? Or something else?) over, and just the years? -- Mikeblas 03:49, 3 August 2006 (UTC)
