Terminology

I created this article to try to explain the difference between a "quantum process", which is a kind of catch-all term for the arbitrary time evolution of a quantum system, and "quantum operation", which is the widely used and rigorous formalism for describing a large class of possible evolutions. I'm not sure the terminology is at all standard, but I'm following Nielsen and Chuang here. Njerseyguy (talk) 16:38, 19 May 2010 (UTC)Reply
