[edit]The following I remmoved from the disambiguation page Sylvania. I have no idea why it was there.
I do not feel competent to determine if any of this should be in a Quaker article so am putting it here for whatever use anyone cares to make of it.
The subjects listed in "National and international divisions and organisation" has "by country" bolded more than the following sections

Founder
[edit]Is inclusion of Margaret Fell as founder in the infobox really justified? I think it’s questionable to call Fox himself founder in an uncomplicated way. To call either founder or “father” and “mother” of Quakerism as they’re sometimes sentimentally called arises from a hagiographic view of Quakerism rather than an historical one. The Society resulted from the contacts Fox made and kept up from his journeys in 1647-1652. Fell came late in that process, around June 1652, and by her own account she was convinced of a set of ideas Fox had already firmly worked out. If Fox is to have a partner in the infobox, surely it would be more sensible to put James Naylor or Elizabeth Hooton, whom he met so much earlier and already had their own lengthy histories of Religious nonconformity?
