QuEra Computing, Inc?

[edit]

Could the title include "Inc"? Otherwise it sounds like a type of computing. Johnjbarton (talk) 17:12, 19 July 2023 (UTC)Reply

Hi @Johnjbarton,
I debated adding "Inc." when I was originally drafting the page but seeing as how other quantum computing company pages like D-Wave Systems (whose full name is D-Wave Quantum Systems Inc.) and Rigetti Computing (full name Rigetti Computing, Inc.) opt to relegate the full name in the body of the page versus the title I thought it acceptable to conform to the same format.
That being said, I could see the potential for slightly more confusion considering the proximity of "QuEra" to "Quantum" versus the other companies I mentioned.
I will propose an edit and let others review it per WP:COI. JohnLAtQuEra (talk) 16:20, 21 July 2023 (UTC)Reply

Add "Inc." to article title

[edit]

Considering the potential for confusion with other forms of computing (such as "Quantum Computing" itself) I'd like to accept @Johnjbarton's suggestion from the QuEra Computing talk page of suffixing the title with "Inc." so the full title would be "QuEra Computing Inc." Hey John. I took the liberty of fulfilling your request, I saw it in the pending COIs and I don’t see how anyone could object to that. Hope that helps - have a great weekend. GGLibrarian (talk) 18:13, 21 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
Adding the Accepted tag here, hope that is ok with everyone :) GGLibrarian (talk) 19:49, 21 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
