What is Qatar Petroleum doing in sustainability engineering?

I would like the major fossil fuel company articles to indicate how they intend to transition to carbon-neutral fuels such as this work and "power to gas." I need to know whether they support emerging chemical engineering research such as catalysts for carbon-neutral transportation fuels, whether they are working on compressed air energy storage such as and , airborne wind turbines such as , and on extracting carbon from seawater such as this PARC method in order to solve their long-term corporate viability issues. I do not believe it is possible to have a truly balanced article on a fossil fuel company without some indication of their long term prospects. Tim AFS (talk) 04:24, 13 December 2013 (UTC)

"Qatar Oil Company" in 1951?

Hello all.

The article Qatar national football team article quotes a source which says that "in 1951, the Qatar Oil Company organised the country’s first football tournament". I'm trying to figure out what the intention could be when talking about "the Qatar Oil Company" in 1951. Any ideas? غوّاص العلم (talk) 15:48, 26 November 2025 (UTC)

Could you please explain your rationale behind removing the COI tag on this article?

On a less important note, you summarized this edit as "updated information", but it seems like all you did was change the formatting of some text to be smaller. That is confusing to other editors who are trying to collaborate and understand what changes are being made.
