Reference Footnote 1o page number incorrect
[edit]While looking into neolithic purple to find an image of it on cave walls, I checked this source Couleurs-pigments dans les mains des peuples on the internet archive's copy of the book and although I cannot read French the page number provided lead me to the segment for blue. I think the correct page number is 119 to 121. Not only is it in the purple section, it has an image of a cave painting, but it also mention manganese, hematite, and the Pech-Merle caves like the paragraph the footnote is attached to. ~2026-33056-93 (talk) 01:23, 4 June 2026 (UTC)

What color purple really is?
[edit]I've always used Wikipedia as a way to know colors, and the way I've always differentiated purple from violet was that purple is more like a dark magenta while violet was the halfway point between blue and magenta. But it seems that the color value of purple in this article recently changed to a redder violet, so what color purple really is? Is there a definitive answer to that?
