Punkrocker (song) → Punkrocker – Per WP:SMALLDETAILS, this is the only really notable work, yes, even before the new Superman film boosted it back to popularity with a title specifically formatted as "Punkrocker", as in no space. • Support - Not sure the original reasoning is fully correct; however, the correct spelling of the general term is punk rocker with a space. It's possibly spelt without a space in Swedish, hence the title of this song. Punkrocker in English only refers to this song, as a Google search shows. Mclay1 (talk) 12:29, 26 July 2025 (UTC)

  To clarify, punkrocker (without a space) is not an English word and there are no references to it in dictionaries, so the chances of someone searching for it while looking for punk rock and not this song are low, and therefore it can't possibly be the primary topic of the term. • Support per WP:PRIMARYTOPIC. "Punkrocker" is not a word in English and searching "punkrocker" for exact matches on Google only yields results about the song. With Teddybears and Iggy Pop filtered out there are no meaningful results that demonstrate common usage of the word to refer to punk rockers. In fact, the song still comes up until you filter out Superman as well. A hatnote is sufficient directing people to punk rock is sufficient if anyone does wind up here by mistake. I'm doubtful that an English-speaking audience would search the unspaced term "punkrocker" if they were looking for "punk rocker," and CAMERAwMUSTACHE's findings appear to corroborate my suspicion. It seems per the above that a majority of users searching "Punkrocker" seek the song and not punk rock. Note that punk rocker does appropriately redirect to punk rock.
