Possible Error in Plot Section

Hey folks, I am not an editor, but I am a fan of the film. I believe part of the plot section in the article is incorrect. However, I could be wrong, that's another reason I didn't make an account and edit the article. I wanted to see what you guys thought. In the article, it says: "Jules defuses the situation, allowing the two to keep the money from only his wallet and letting them leave". However, in the film, Jules says to Ringo: "now, with all the wallets and the register, that makes this a pretty successful little score, huh?". This seems to clearly imply that Jules let them leave with the wallets and the register money as well. I went back and watched the scene again to make sure. There's no indication that he made Ringo give everybody else their money back, he just wanted to keep the briefcase. Revisiting discussions on the genre

There has been extensive discussion in the past on the primary genre for the article's lede, where several editors (including me) disagreed with the inclusion of 'black comedy'. I personally feel that most of Tarantino's films should be labelled as such if we're going to keep it for Pulp Fiction.

As sources such as AFI, EBSCO and Encyclopaedia Britannica do not specifically use the term 'black comedy' to describe the film, I believe trimming it down to just 'crime comedy' or 'crime' is most fitting. Donkey Hot-day (talk) 02:58, 8 April 2026 (UTC)

Hegseth "prayer"

In 2026, mentioning a rescue operation in the ongoing US-Israeli war on Iran during a controversial Christian prayer service at the Pentagon, US Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth almost literally recited Jules' 'biblical' passage as CSAR 25:17, claiming this "is meant to reflect Ezekiel 25:17". ~2026-23610-14 (talk) 00:47, 17 April 2026 (UTC)

Chronological Order

I think the chronological order presented in the article is incorrect. It should be:

Day 1: Vincent and Jules retrieve the briefcase; Bret is killed; Marvin is accidentally shot; the scene with Mr. Wolf; breakfast and the diner robbery; the briefcase is delivered to Marcellus at the bar after his conversation with Butch. In this scene, the bartender tells Vincent, "I heard you're taking Mia out TOMORROW."

Day 2: Vincent visits Lance, then picks up Mia and they go to Jack Rabbit Slim's. Back to her house, Mia overdoses, and Vincent takes her to Lance's house. Butch's boxing match cannot take place later that same evening after the dinner and the overdose, because after the fight Mia tells Vincent she never thanked him for dinner. It would be strange for her to say that only a few hours—or even minutes—later.

Day 3: The boxing match takes place; Butch escapes in a taxi; in the locker room, Mia thanks Vincent while Marcellus is trying to figure out where Butch is; Butch spends the night in a motel with Fabienne.

Day 4: Butch goes back to retrieve the gold watch, kills Vincent, and accidentally runs into Marcellus; the pawn shop scene; Butch reunites with Fabienne, and the two escape on Zed's motorcycle.

All the other timelines I've seen compress these events into fewer days, but that doesn't seem possible because certain lines of dialogue clearly place the scenes on different days.
