These books were published in 1983 by Ladybird Books. Number 10 in this series is Magic at Midnight, written by Sheila McCullagh, and illustrated by Tony Morris.

I think 1983 is a typo; the TV program started in 1985.. and the books were based on the program, which makes their years of publication 1985-198? (confirmed here , although of course its not exactly a solid and reliable source). "Magic at Midnight" is indeed number 10, only number 10 of Stage 3, not of the whole series. Finally, its just one of the books and as such it doesn't deserve a specific mention in my opinion - instead, I'm going to create an article with a list of all 54 books and include it there with the rest of the books.
