Article categorization

[edit]

This article was initially categorized based on scheme outlined at WP:DERM:CAT. kilbad (talk) 18:52, 21 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

This article has no sources

[edit]

There is not a single source in this article. How on earth did it pass the people who were supposed to catch these things. Unless sources are added, it needs to be deleted immediately. MarydaleEd (talk) 21:52, 12 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

Deep-revert

[edit]

I have deep-reverted/stubbed the article to its Feb 2011 state, which is the only version of the article that I could find that was supported by the cited source(s). The most recent version of the article was based on three sources, none of which even mentioned prurigo simplex, and discussed either prurigo (a disambiguation page on wikipedia) or prurigo nodularis. Intermediate versions of the article contained significant amounts of unsourced/disputable content.

That said, the classification of prurigos is unsettled and it is quite possible that prurigo simplex is no longer widely accepted category. If that is the case, I would support a proposal for redirection/merger instead of retaining this article as a permanent stub. Abecedare (talk) 21:01, 21 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

@Abecedare I've started a topic here in the medicine wikiproject regarding this subject if you are interested. CursedWithTheAbilityToDoTheMath (talk) 20:19, 6 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
