Possible Protostegidae tracks found in limestone slab in in central-eastern Italy
[edit]Palentologists analyzed a recently-discovered trackway on a Cretaceous limestone slab on Monte Cònero. They think these represent a group of sea-turtles fleeing an earthquake.
