I think it is better now - at least the opening
[edit]Despite the weird edit wars - which I am NOT NOW a part of - this is a better read.
I do think there are many sections that are old cut/pastes with the editors not really understanding the content.
The article was confusing as to the chemical and the chemical emulsion formulated as the anesthetic- the infobox gives plenty of technical data on this chemical compound - but it is ONLY as an emulsified formulation that it becomes useful. If you look at a vial of the stuff - and I see it frequently - it says something like 'one or two percent P in soybean oil' etc.
To be crystal PROPOFOL is a chemical. The stuff used by an Anesthesiologist is emulsified PROPOFOL.

Musician
[edit]It is stated that a singer can be a musician, but a musician is not necessarily a singer. Although Jackson was well known as a singer, songwriter, producer, and dancer, he would be relatively unknown as a musician, as presented in the third paragraph of the "Recreational use" section. He did play some instruments, and I believe piano and drums on one or more songs out of what 181 songs? He certainly, as sources indicate, was not an instrumentalist. One source states it was more of a hobby. -- Otr500 (talk) 05:05, 29 October 2025 (UTC)
Classification
[edit]- This is currently a B-class article. The B-class criteria #1 states:
The article is suitably referenced, with inline citations. It has reliable sources, and any important or controversial material which (that) is likely to be challenged is cited.
The last sentence of the first paragraph in the "Side effects" is not a simplistic "the sky is blue, so needs sourcing. The seventh paragraph has been tagged since November 2014. On the lesser side, the article is in the category "Articles containing potentially dated statements from 2022". There are an excess of one, two, and three sentence paragraphs that could be merged when on the same subject. -- Otr500 (talk) 05:56, 29 October 2025 (UTC)
