Feedback from New Page Review process

[edit]

I left the following feedback for the creator/future reviewers while reviewing this article: Thanks for creating the article!.

  • What I think should be changed: The current article says:

> "Off the coast of Alaska, CETI succeeded in the first intentional human-whale interaction in humpback whale 'language'." [6][7]

  • Why it should be changed:
  • Reference [7] relates only to SETI (Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence) and does not mention CETI at all — it should be removed.
  • Reference [6] (BBC article by Katherine Latham) mentions both SETI and CETI, but seems to conflate the two. It doesn't directly support the specific claim that CETI succeeded in such an interaction.
  • References supporting the possible change (format using the "cite" button):
Consider rewording or removing the sentence unless a more reliable source is available. Alternatively, clarify the nature of the project and explicitly distinguish CETI from SETI to avoid confusion.
