Fairnilee

[edit]

Prince Prigio and Prince Ricardo were jointly published in 1895 as My Own Fairy Book with a long subtitle that ends, "with an Excerpt from the Annals of Scotland, As Touching Ker of Fairnilee, His Sojourn with the Queen of Faery".

What is the relation of these books to the earlier fairy tale, The Gold of Fairnilee (1888)? 1889 advertisement; one WorldCat record

HathiTrust provides full view of the 1st ed., My Fairy Book, which shows that it is omnibus of all three stories, not only two. "The Gold of Fairnilee", published first, is part three of the 1895 omnibus. 1895 Contents --P64 (talk) 18:54, 3 November 2016 (UTC)Reply
Apparently unrelated in content, simply part three of the omnibus. --P64 (talk) 22:06, 10 November 2016 (UTC)Reply
