Trust me.. It's auricula. I've been growing Primulas from some time and I can vouch for it's authenticity. Obviously you want something else, so I'll just move along.

When do they bloom?

Perennial means the plant lives all year, not simply a summer annual. But when do they bloom? I have perennials that bloom a few specific weeks in summer and others that bloom in spring or fall. A colorful hybrid of auricula is featured in a painting in the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam. Flowers in a Terra Cotta Vase, by Brandt and Eelkema (2 painters, the first died young, the 2nd completed the painting).
