Misleading photo, bonobos not chimpanzees

Under the "Behavior > Social system" subtitle, the second image with the legend "Chimpanzees are social great apes" depicts bonobos and not chimpanzees. Either the legend or the image should be corrected, if someone can confirm I'm right. 217.28.31.46 (talk) 04:26, 13 January 2024 (UTC)

First "chimpanzees" can refer to either of the two species in the genus Pan, so even if (and secondly) you could distinguish Pan troglodytes from Pan paniscus just by looking at that photo, it wouldn't matter. There is no need for a change. - UtherSRG (talk) 13:46, 13 January 2024 (UTC)

We will need a reliable source backing your claim. Reading the article Bonobo, it has been historically also called pygmy chimpanzee (less often the dwarf chimpanzee or gracile chimpanzee) but not just chimpanzee. Also, it states that, Bonobos and chimpanzees are the two species which make up the genus Pan, and are the closest living relatives to humans (Homo sapiens). English Pronunciation vs Latin Pronunciation of Primates

While, as most of us know, in English, when commonly refering to a group of specific animals in this order, it is pronounced /'prai meits/, however, when referring to the order itself, it should be pronounced closer to the Latin (it is the plural nominative of primas, primatis) as /pri 'mä tes/ (pree-MAH-tess) even though it is spelled the same exact way. Sorry, I meant to get back to the remainder of the fix but I got interrupted by other things. I've completed the change I'd intended to make. To wit, the reason there was such confused wording is the cladgram was moved from one section to another.
