[edit]The chart shown in the "Computation" section does not strictly speaking agree with the formula (if I understand the chart correctly). The chart shows a maximum payable of 2687, but this does not appear in the formula. I believe this maximum figure is described (in words) in the "family maximum benefits" section, although I cannot be sure.
If nothing else the formula should be amended to show that it is valid only up to the maximum value (at AIME=8444), but ideally it should be shown where this maximum comes from. 90.241.102.124 (talk) 20:33, 6 November 2023 (UTC)
