Why is it Prides Crossing rather than Pride Crossing or Pride's Crossing? Uchiha Itachi 25 (talk) 16:40, 8 October 2025 (UTC)Reply

It probably was originally "Pride's Crossing". Railroads tended to drop the possessive apostrophes over time, and the USGS generally does not allow apostrophes in official place names. Pi.1415926535 (talk) 20:34, 8 October 2025 (UTC)Reply
