I reverted last edits because:

• 1. I do not see a connection between this article and article named History of the Jews in Slovenia.

• 2. German name for this region is neither official neither widely used, so there is no reason to have this name in the first sentence of the article when we already have "Name" section. PANONIAN (talk) 20:46, 9 April 2007 (UTC)

Prekmurje was never under the Ottoman Empire, despite the fact that there were many raids. Just go ahead and look at old maps & the extent of the Empire. If someone has some sources, showing otherwise, please do post them here. Thank you.

Can anyone add to the above comment? I'd love to read more about it, I just never knew that "Since 1526, Prekmurje was part of the Habsburg Monarchy, except Ottoman administration between 1566-1688."

Also, perhaps today's population could also be cited. I believe it's somewhere around 125,000 - 150,000 app.

Prekmurian and not Prekmurje

Needless and blunt stretch: not formal the Prekmurje or Prekmurian name.

This topic has already been discussed at Talk:Prekmurian_dialect, where the weight of reliable sources and a third opinion process (FAQ) have both favored Prekmurje as a modifier. Any further discussion of the issue should continue to take place there. 1. Not functional neither the Prekmurian, or Prekmurje
2. Few Prekmurians be for the Prekmurian, as the Slovene language also not Slovenija language.ű

4. and the name Prekmurian correct, reasonable name.

The Germans also was name to Prekmurisch und not Prekmurje Dialekt. In his language also likely. Doncsecz^talk 16:13, 30 June 2010 (UTC)

Requesting an amendment to History underneath 20th Century heading.

At the very end of this section, it says "During World War II, it was occupied and annexed by the Kingdom of Hungary from 1941 to 1944 and by Nazi Germany between 1944 and 1945." This is all factually correct information of course, but when combined with the map depicting the administration divisions of the Kingdom of Hungary (this one), it became very confusing to me because the article didn't also mention the context that the region was divided into two sub-divisions separated between both the Vas and Zala counties (Muraszombati and Lenti, respectively, as they are labeled in the image). I figured Prekmurje would be labeled with one of the names the article had already mentioned, so I spent nearly an hour trying to figure out what the problem was since that clearly wasn't the case and then another near hour writing this whole thing out after I had everything figured out. I decided to make a request instead of editing it myself because I was originally doing something else and I knew I was already distracted while browsing Wikipedia when I noticed this issue, so hoping I could bring someone else's attention to help take care of this seemed like the best way for me to get back to what I was originally doing as soon as possible. Also, I must admit that I relied on AI to get the answers that I found out quickly, then cross referenced them with the list of the Kingdom of Hungary's administrative divisions and sub-divisions found here, so it felt wrong for me to be the one to make the edit since I usually try not to mess with AI but felt compelled to this time because I was on a time crunch. Thanks for anyone who does this, if that is indeed what happens. Regardless, I have to get back to what I was doing before I get anymore stressed out over the fact that I am still distracted as I am typing all of this out.
