I have a conflict of interest: I am related to Pranav Anand. I am therefore not editing the article directly. Proposed additions below, each independently sourced. Please amend or decline anything that does not meet the sourcing bar.
1. Add to the career section, before the 2022 material:
Anand was awarded the FIDE Master title in 2018. On 12 February 2021, aged 14, he defeated grandmaster Stefan Djurić at the Radnicki Chess GM round-robin in Belgrade to cross 2400 and complete the requirements for the International Master title, becoming the youngest International Master from Karnataka.[1][2]
2. Add a new subsection for 2025–2026:
In November 2025, Anand won Group A of the President's Cup of the Republic of Tajikistan in Dushanbe, finishing unbeaten on 7/9, half a point clear of the field.[3][4]
In February 2026, he won the 42nd Cappelle-la-Grande Open in France with an unbeaten 7½/9, finishing half a point ahead of the field.[5]
3. Please fix or remove the following existing sentence:
The article states he was leading the 2023 World Junior Championship after round six but never gives the final result, which leaves a misleading impression. It should either state his final placing or be removed as an unrepresentative mid-event detail.
