Has there ever been talk of fitting a DIRCM system to the Typhoon?

[edit]

Has there ever been talk of fitting a DIRCM system like Nemesis to the Typhoon? The Typhoon with DASS (including BriteCloud) and a towed decoy seems pretty well defended against against radar-homing missiles (plus IRIS-T can shoot down air-to-air missiles), but when it comes to short-range IR-guided missiles AIUI modern ones can filter out decoy flares, so something like DIRCM would provide a useful layer of defence I'd have thought.  Preceding unsigned comment added by 2.25.65.59 (talk) 16:50, 19 November 2020 (UTC)Reply
