Transmit Power Control

[edit]

Dont know what ended the previous discussion, but I am referring to the suggestion to merge the Power Control http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Power_control article into Transmit Power Control http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Transmit_Power_Control

In its current state, the Power Control article is specific to communications systems. "Power Control" usually refers to "Electrical Power Control". But I dont know about creating a master "Power Control" article that acts as a definition to what the term means (the use of power in whatever form) and then breaks it down into links to other articles.-- Spectabillis (talk) 08:02, July 23, 2008 UTC

As you can see, I merged it the other way, which I think makes more sense. -- KelleyCook (talk) 13:38, 23 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

New section on power control types?

[edit]

I believe it would be nice to have a section where some brief description of the types of power control are presented (distributed vs. centralized, open loop vs. closed loop, etc.). I plan to start working on it near future. Any suggestions or ideas? Omer182 (talk) 18:42, 18 March 2009 (UTC)Reply
