I found a quote from an actual Freescale rep stating that e700 isn't the technological base for e5500. This is new information for me. Thank you for making med dig for it. I still think that e700 could place well in the e5500 article for historical reasons as they seem to fulfill the same segment. It shouldn't be hard to make it clear that they might not share a straight technical lineage.
