Raspberry Pi

According to these pages:

PostmarketOS runs on the Raspberry Pi. Does anyone have a better source? --Guy Macon (talk) 11:56, 25 March 2020 (UTC)Reply

Duplicate Reference

Can't add image from commons.wikimedia.org

[edit]

I've followed the instruction and my uploaded image ended up at https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Docker_running_on_two_Nexus_5_phones.jpg

I could see the image from selection list. But after publishing, it's not showing in the gallery.

Anyone know what's missing? tigerwang (talk) 22:58, 18 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

Shouldn't this article be under Portal:Telephones

[edit]

Shouldn't this article be linked in Portal:Telephones?

Initial release

[edit]

Would the initial release of postmarketOS be the first time source code was published (May 2017[1]) or the first stable release v20.05 (26 May 2020[2][3])? UltrasonicMadness (talk) 20:53, 29 December 2021 (UTC)Reply

Default DE

[edit]

Isn't the default DE Phosh? Why does it say "Phosh, Sxmo, Plasma Mobile"? Wiktorpyk (talk) 14:41, 11 November 2024 (UTC)Reply

Wikipedia (WP:ABOUT) is an encyclopedia, meaning that it ought to contain WP:ENCYCLOPEDIC content. I believe that the sections hereby mentioned in the title are not suitable as part of this article per WP:GALLERY and WP:NOTDIRECTORY. While some of the images can be retained, we really do not need an exhaustive collection of how pmOS may look running on different devices; furthermore, several of them serve to illustrate DEs in practice, and could perhaps be more suitable in the articles about those. It may be disappointing for some if the content is removed, but we can still link to the pmOS wiki in an WP:EXTERNAL links section; indeed, it is common that people introduce content not suitable in an encyclopedia but very suitable in another Wiki. Thus, I suggest checking out WP:OTHERWIKIS for broader coverage of the matter. Furthermore, I do not see much of a point in mirroring another wiki, which might not even be acceptable as it is a WP:USERGENERATED WP:PRIMARY source, whereas Wikipedia ought to be constructed from WP:SECONDARY sources.
