- No, in Canada cheque writers can be more confident post-dating a cheque knowing that the system is supposed to respect the post-dating. This has been added to the article.--Brian Dell (talk) 01:06, 24 December 2013 (UTC)
Discrepancy in article
[edit]The main section states that Australia respects the dating of the check. "...while in India and Australia post-dated cheques are not payable until the date written on the cheque." Wzander (talk) 15:48, 12 September 2023 (UTC)
