Bypassing redirects

[edit]

Someone more motivated that me will need to disambiguate these links :) -- pde 06:26, 28 Nov 2003 (UTC)

Now that there's alittle disambiguation, the articles need to be linked to wrt 'positive' better. many of these disambiguations don't even direct you to articles with the word 'positive' in the title. THis isn't to say that they all necessarily have to, but many of them should and don't, or at least don't in a clear fashion. Shaggorama 00:29, 16 November 2005 (UTC)Reply

Positive vs. Affirmative

[edit]

Currently affirmative redirects to positive. Is that a good idea? In linguistics I think that affirmative and positive are both defined and have distinct meanings. In many of the uses listed here, "positive" cannot be replaced by "affirmative". Perhaps there should be two disamb pages which point at each other:

Positive may be: ... The same as [[affirmative]]

And vice-versa. Jorge Stolfi 21:04, 5 February 2006 (UTC)Reply
