Date of railway

This article gives a date of 1873 but Connections by Sail, Mail and Rail: The Port Chalmers Post Office and Port Chalmers Railway Terminus and Station states that work on a Dunedin to Port Chalmers railway line started in August 1870 and the line officially opened 31 December 1872.
