Lothair or Lothar?

[edit]

The name of the Holy Roman Emperor is spelled both ways in this article.  Preceding unsigned comment added by 23.119.204.117 (talk) 06:31, 28 December 2015 (UTC)Reply

Removing tag

The nature of the "contradiction" is not specified and I can't see anything glaring. Tigerboy1966  13:28, 12 March 2016 (UTC)Reply

Templars

[edit]

I've edited this section. The claim that 'Omne Datum Optimum' caused Templar arrogance which was the cause of their downfall is oversimplification at best. What I've written instead is hopefully less black-and-white whilst retaining the the sense of the point the previous version was making (i.e. that a Papal Bull intended to support the Order ironically ultimately helped destroy them).
