Eastern Orthodox Church

[edit]

Is Pope Gregory II a saint in the Eastern Orthodox Church?  Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.162.228.189 (talk) 04:08, 8 February 2020 (UTC)Reply

Yes, as a pre-Schism bishop, he is considered glorified to the Eastern Orthodox. His renown is minor enough that hey may not get much veneration in a liturgical way, and many EO tend to downplay the stature of Bishops of Rome in general. But I think it is safe to say we could add the Eastern Orthodox Church (and Oriental and Assyrian) to the infobox. Elizium23 (talk) 04:12, 8 February 2020 (UTC)Reply
