History section's statement vs. Product section's statement

In a statement in the history of the product it says the creator created it with the idea of stacking his earbuds (or headphones) and earbuds' cable onto it, on a coil-like manner. Then, in the product section it mentions it is for handling the cellphone or as a stand for it, and it doesn't mention its original intended purpose.
