Avenae Tribe vs. Avena Genus?

Derivation of the taxon name
[edit]I am unable to determine whether the name Pooideae is derived from Poo or Pooh. If you can resolve this issue, please update the article accordingly. LeapTorchGear (talk) 04:58, 20 October 2025 (UTC)
