article needs weight range
[edit]The page talks about how much ponies can carry relative to their own weight, but what is their own weight range? 173.222.1.190 (talk) 03:25, 26 October 2024 (UTC)
Needs an image overhaul
[edit]This article needs a better selection of images. Too much additive text in captions and not enough appropriate photos illustrating the article content. For example, the lead photo has a caption mentioning "a thick mane and tail" which isn't visible in the photo, and "small overall size" when Highland Ponies, and this one in particular, often reach over the pony cutoff height of 14.2 hands. This beautiful specimen is NOT the epitome of "pony". Then there's the useless images of "A pony near a mountain" and the Chincoteague pony pic. And finally, the Shetland photo should have people standing near the pony to give the viewer a sense of how small they are, and that photo just doesn't do it, despite (and not supporting) the caption. ▶ I am Grorp ◀ 00:36, 16 July 2025 (UTC)
