a question

[edit]

excuse me! how to synthese polypyrrole from pyrrole? what is it's initiator? thanks

The answer - A solution of phosphomolybdic acid in THF and one of pyrrole (Fresh and clean is the best) Mix them together, then paint it on whatever surface you'd like

As the THF evaporates, the polymerization speeds up —Preceding unsigned comment added by 198.166.214.5 (talk) 14:08, 18 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Template help

[edit]

If anyone has time, the {{Tetrapyrroles}} template would really benefit from your expertise. Thanks! :) Willow 19:12, 27 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Image Of Polypyrrole

[edit]

Polypyrrole should strictly be displayed as 3 pyrrole units within the brackets with a cationic charge over the molecule and an anionic countercharge. I have provided an image of the corrected structure.;

Editors are welcome to comment on ways to improve the article. It has languished for a long time and has accumulated some minor references (better than nothing). A search of CAS shows that there are many hugely cited reviews since 1995 alone, some with >1000 references. We need to address how is it made, what does it look like, etc. Is this material used commercially for anything? Suggestions welcome. --Smokefoot (talk) 15:28, 9 February 2013 (UTC)Reply
