United States Minor Outlying Islands

This article says the United States Minor Outlying Islands are in Polynesia. But Wake Island and Navassa Island are included in the United States Minor Outlying Islands, and they aren't in Polynesia. Wake Island is in Micronesia, and Navassa Island is in the Caribbean Sea. I'm not sure about the others, but either way, someone ought to clarify that. - 72.184.128.205 (talk) 19:19, 3 April 2017 (UTC)

The Hawaii Coat of arms

The Hawaii Coat Of arms In the Demographics Is not the Hawaii Coat of arms. That is the City and County of Honolulu's coat of arms. Please check Seal of Hawaii#Coat of arms For more information.

Hmm. It looks like it's just a reduced form of the Hawaiian coat of arms (just the shield, without the crest, supporters, compartment, and motto). Both the Hawaiian and Honoluluan coats of arms share that shield. When I check'd Honolulu, I saw a complex coat of arms that doesn't match the generic Hawaiian shield seen here. — Misha Vargas (talk | contribs) 00:00, 23 January 2026 (UTC)

Yes. However Id still would like to point out the coat of arms Is incorrect. As that is the insignia for the state. Not the coat of arms. If it could be fixed to show the accurate coat of arms that would be appreciated. Freedom759 (talk) 19:28, 23 January 2026 (UTC)

That is, as far as I know, a standard way to show coats of arms. I have a more radical solution for this page: just remove all the coats of arms. It's meant to be a table about demographics, and the coats of arms are completely superfluous. The names are there to identify the country, the flags are at least common and standardized, but the coats of arms are not recognizable to most people and have nothing to do with the subject of the table. Add to that the fact that out of fifteen: two don't have arms, two are just the U.S. arms, and two are just the New Zealand arms.
