- No site or beta updates since 2010, no stable release update since 2009; most of the site makes a distinction between the regular, pay version and the “lite” free version, but the payment interface has been replaced by a statement that the pay version is now free… yes, this is abandoned. Plus it was just another of many run-of-the-mill Wordpad replacements that appeared between 1995 and 2010 that may not even work on modern versions of Windows. It never got any recognition other than to appear on a number of freeware download sites. The WP article sounds an awful lot like a press release or soft sales pitch, not a dispassionate encyclopedia article. Many other beefed up Wordpad/light Word software is better known and still in development. This article should be subject to speedy deletion. ~2026-29091-38 (talk) 03:59, 12 July 2026 (UTC)
