Moving discussion here from User_talk:GeneralBelly. User:Mjk1964 states that they are the subject of the article. They request edits to bring the article in line with BLP. I have asked them to continue the discussion here. GeneralBelly (talk) 17:09, 28 September 2025 (UTC)Reply

Request to remove private/personal information per WP:BLP
Hello, I’d like to raise a concern about the current article.
The page presently contains personal details (birthplace, siblings, etc.). I want to clarify that I have not sought to promote myself on Wikipedia or add material about myself. My only concern is the inclusion of private and inaccurate information. I now understand that WP:COI and WP:AUTO discourage subjects of articles from editing their own pages, so I will not edit directly and will instead raise this here for other editors to consider.
The details in question are not supported by high-quality, independent secondary sources. At best they appear in local publications or in promotional webpages for productions. These do not meet WP:RS standards for biographical information, particularly where it concerns private, non-notable aspects of a living person’s life.
WP:BLP requires that unsourced or poorly sourced content be removed immediately, and WP:BLPPRIVACY makes clear that family members who are not independently notable should not be named. Including such details is neither necessary for understanding professional notability, nor appropriate under Wikipedia’s BLP policies.
For these reasons, I respectfully request that the private details about birthplace and family members be removed. This is not about censorship, but about ensuring the article complies with Wikipedia’s policies on accuracy, verifiability, and the protection of living people.
Thank you for your help in keeping the article correct, safe, and policy-compliant. Mjk1964 (talk) 19:22, 28 September 2025 (UTC)Reply
