Merge with Campaign finance

[edit]

As I have indicated on the "Campaign finance" talk page the 18 months old proposal does not make sense to me, because this is giving too much weight to a U.S. point of view and the current article on "Campaign finance" cannot be internationalized due to terminology, e.g. the article mentions "campaign" as the unit of raising and spending funds, which most likely nobody in Europe would understand because over there parties (and occasionally candidates) are the units of political fundraising and spending. If you hold any views on the subject please participate in the discussion. Thank you! Khnassmacher (talk) 15:48, 3 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

Call for help

[edit]

Can anybody please fix the External Links section? The first and fourth items have been fixed recently. However, two others (ACE project and IDEA) do not work properly. The link to the ACE project is too specific (public subsidies only) although the project holds more political finance information. The link to the website of International IDEA connests to the old (2003) database although there is a new (2012) database available. Thank your for your help!
