"Commercial" Enigma Machine?

[edit]

This cannot be true. As the text in the Article reads, there were "military" enigma machines that the Poles had apparently copied from the Germans (which the Article does not spell out clearly), and then there were "commercial" enigma machines. I guess. It makes no sense, and I disbelieve it.

I also disbelieve that the German's "accidentally" shipped their highly-classified military communications encryption device to Poland, and then after having received it, the Poles somehow had trouble duplicating the machine, when they had an authentic German machine in their possession. They whole narrative sounds like bullshit.66.25.69.185 (talk) 03:13, 3 September 2024 (UTC)Reply

What you write here is a complete muddle, as you will find if you attentively read the articles dealing with the varieties of Enigma machine.
