Polish?

[edit]

Does this place have anything to do with "Poland"? It says nothing about it, not a word. I only ask because between 15-19 century most of the inhabitants spoke Polish. The city was a cultural center of Polish culture with the visit of the most famous Polish artists like Mickiewicz etc.. Virtually all the buildings that were also mentioned in this article that were built during this period were built by Poles. So-called Magdeburg law was brought there from polish people... Why isn't there a single word that has anything to do with "Polish" or "Poland". Did a Russian write this article or maybe a German? 2001:4CA0:6FFF:2:2:2:1:1016 (talk) 01:13, 16 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
