Etymology

Confusing to have the definition of Pluteus in the intro given as "shed or penthouse", but then in the Naming section: "The Latin word 'pluteus' has various meanings related to military protective structures and its signification here may be that of a shield (the shape of the cap)."

From the page 'Plute' on Wikipedia: "Plute or pluteus, a moveable shield used alongside siege engines in ancient Roman warfare."

I dunno, it just seems that shield is the more likely origin of the name Pluteus, and that the meanings of shed or penthouse may be missing the mark and over-emphasized by being in the intro of this article?
