^[1]Mrs. Eddy's home, Pleasant View, was not destroyed: the barn was moved a few hundred feet to the west and still exists in an office center and is for sale in year 2012; the interior items were shipped to Boston and some still exist in the MBE Library...; the lumber of the house was shipped to another city to re-erect a memorial to Mrs. Eddy (which was never done), and all unused articles were burned on site to prevent looters and souvenir hunters because Mrs. Eddy's homes and birthplace have always been popular tourist attractions. The dismantling of Mrs. Eddy's home was done under the supervision of Josiah E. Fernald, trustee under Her will and a Concord banker who knew her many years and handled a lot of her business when she was living in Concord. Since it no longer has anything to do with the Christian Science church, the name should be changed to just "Pleasant View Home" or "Pleasant View Retirement". 70.115.241.4 (talk) 01:48, 27 January 2021 (UTC)Reply
