This page is pretty bare bones. I think we could copy a lot of information from here: https://plants.ces.ncsu.edu/plants/planera-aquatica/
I'd suggest adding some more photographs, more descriptions, maybe even how to tell it apart from true elms. I'll see about adding a few things. _________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
I added several details on the Species water elm. Since it's the only species in the genus, I think adding the information here instead of a new page is suitable.
Future additions: Pictures of flowers, fresh fruit (when green), or better pictures of leaves (had to use a personal picture). Also could someone cite the USDA-NRCS (citation 3) on the fruit picture? For the life of me I could not get the correct citation. There may be some grammar or syntax issues, please correct them as you see fit. Let me know if there are any problems with my update.
