I would like to point out that, it's actually the tag "東方" and not "Touhou", being exact. Of course Touhou is provided as the translation, but checking earlier, "Touhou" had 42459 works and "東方" had a whopping 2224608.
At this point I'm not even surprised, as someone who knows how crazy popular Touhou Project is, even outside of Japan.
