I am well aware that Swedish rivers usually are placed under Englishised name forms such as this one. I just want to place a quiet protest here, for the future. Nobody calls it "Pite River", except over-sealous tourist agencyies perhaps. By now though, I guess English Wikipedia has done a good job of markering this strange name form...
