McDonalds

It may be interesting to note that, for many years, there has been a McDonalds restaurant in Bridge Street. This was opened despite the vocal opposition of the VERY powerful Pinner Residents Association. As of 10 December 2006, this branch of McDonalds has CLOSED due, according to McDonalds, to poor sales.

Good grief - has anyone EVER heard of a Maccy D's CLOSING? Snograt talk here 17:17, 17 December 2006 (UTC) (43 year resident of Pinner)
I couldn't believe that McD's had shut either; I was convinced for ages that they were refurbishing. The only other McD that I know of that had shut was in Amman in Jordan. It was bizarre: I was standing in front of it, thinking I could recognise a building like that. It finally clicked though when I saw the shape of the roof. All the McDs paraphenalia had been removed and the windows were all covered in newspaper. Oh my god (allah even): someone has taken a photo of it when open Yaaaay 22:28, 1 February 2007 (UTC)
Update January 2008 - the former site of McD's is a Foxton's Estate Agents. Simontevans (talk) 20:40, 30 January 2008 (UTC)
