Pinduoduo Inc. vs PDD Holdings Inc.
[edit]It seems like the infobox on this page is referring more to PDD Holdings Inc. rather than what the article is about, Pinduoduo Inc. This could cause some confusion for readers who are reading for the first time. They could think that Pinduoduo Inc. is the public company and that PDD Holdings holds majority in this company. It might be beneficial to create another article names PDD Holdings to avoid confusion. WiinterU (talk) 01:07, 19 February 2024 (UTC)
Needs a better synopsis
[edit]I just Googled "Pinduoduo" because I didn't know what type of company it is. Google's sidebar quoted Wikipedia, a Chinese online retailer, with a focus on the traditional agriculture industry
, and thus coming to Wikipedia didn't serve me any better. While I obviously understand what an "online retailer" is, what the heck is "the traditional agriculture industry"?! We don't have a traditional agriculture industry article so I'm at a loss. Does Pinduoduo sell to the "traditional agriculture industry", or products from it? The body of our article doesn't explain it any better, and the Pinduoduo website itself is in Chinese, so I don't understand how it's any different than other large e-commerce like Amazon, Temu, AliExpress, etc. — voidxor 01:16, 22 June 2026 (UTC)
