Pilakurichi ponds: fact or fiction?

[edit]

I've had trouble finding any information to back up the claims that Pilakurichi is home to five ponds and one lake. While searching the boundaries of the village on Google Maps I could only locate only one pond. I already removed the so far unfounded claim that all four sides of the village have a pond, but could anyone look into this issue more? DeclanM123 (talk) 21:06, 4 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

Looking at the 2023 satellite imagery available on gmaps, I can spot one pond and one generously labelled lake. Until a reliable source can be found, I suggest that no claims be made whatsoever regarding the water features of this village. Alecnotalex (talk) 03:38, 5 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
