Conflicting Information Regarding Parliamentary Secretary Status
[edit]Hi all, I've made some changes to update Pierre's page. Changes were more substantial than initially anticipated and is my first "major" edit. I apologise if I've made any mistakes in this process.
Once issue that came up while working on the page is that I noticed the member's biography on the parliament's website lists him as currently being the "Parliamentary Secretary to the Attorney General; Minister for Commerce; Tertiary and International Education; Multicultural Interests". However the list of current ministers and parliamentary secretaries still lists him as being the parliamentary secretary for the minister for health; mental health. I cannot find a corroborating media statement such as I did for the health parliamentary secretary (can find that here).
I've left it as being the parliamentary secretary for health; mental health until I can get better confirmation. If anyone has any documents already that evidence this change that would be grand. Crabchucking (talk) 13:02, 15 July 2025 (UTC)
- Further to the above, I spoke to WA Parliament House who advised that the biographical page is incorrect and he remains parliamentary secretary for health; mental health. The biographical page will ideally be fixed to reflect this. The other sources (media statements, list of ministers and parl secs, and the member profile) all are accurate to his current role.
- Information on the page therefore remains correct as he continues to be parliamentary secretary for health; mental health. Crabchucking (talk) 03:12, 16 July 2025 (UTC)
